Event Overview
In September 2022, the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC) organised the very first hybrid SingHealth-Duke NUS Education Conference, and AveLIVE was the vendor of choice to deliver both the Virtual Conference Platform, and Main Programme Livestream with both online and offline sessions. The event also had many moving components with our support such as the concurrent Oral Abstract Presentations Livestream taking place across 4 locations within the Academia.
The event hosted more than 900 online and offline delegates.

Virtual Conference Platform
Run the show with concurrent livestream Presentation Rooms
The virtual conference platform provided an avenue for attendees across the world to view the programmes livestream across different virtual Presentation Rooms, each with its own live & moderated Q&A setup. Attendees attending physically could also scan a QR code at the venue to send their questions through the system for speakers online and offline. From the platform Virtual Lobby, attendees could also view Agenda and Speakers Information, which was well-integrated with the organiser's main website.
Maximise value for sponsors through Exhibition Hall & Virtual Booth
The platform also provided the spotlight for key sponsors of the event, with each of them having their own branded Virtual Booth inside the Exhibition Hall. Here, attendees could read up more about the sponsor, view their uploaded materials, hop on a video Virtual Chat Room or initiate live chat with booth representatives! Our post-event analytics report also enabled sponsors to visualise the event's impact such as impressions across various placements and key user interactions at booth in detail.
Showcase great research works at Poster Hall
With the objective to reconnect healthcare educators and learners in Singapore, the event also featured over 60 abstracts virtually at the Poster Hall, under either of the two categories: Education Research and Education Stories. Each abstract was well-presented at their respective Poster Booth in various formats - poster standalone, with video presentation or audio presentation.
Our platform also provided a robust Poster Search function that enabled attendees to find relevant abstracts based on title, categories, author's name and many other considerations. One new and interesting feature we have also introduced for this event was the Bookmark function, where attendees could highlight abstracts that they are interested in so that they could find them more easily.
Build connections through Networking Zone and Photo Booth
To ensure the online and offline attendees stay connected and engaged throughout the 2-day event, a virtual Networking Zone and Photo Booth could also be found on the platform, where attendees can live chat with one another, create new connections and capture their memories at the event.
Provide support through Information Hub & Customer Support Live Chat
Given the scale and complexity of the event, the organiser also hosted important information in the Information Hub for both online and offline attendees to refer to. Here, the delegates may also find Q&A and initiate Live Chat with Help Desk should they seek further support.
Main Programme Livestream
Besides providing the virtual conference platform, our team also worked closely with the IT team at AMC to livestream online and face-to-face sessions at the Auditorium, covering a range of programmes from panel presentations, keynotes to opening and award ceremony.
The AveLIVE onsite also coordinated with AMC's AV team to broadcast virtual programmes at the venue and support the concurrent streaming of 4 Oral Abstract Presentations.
